The anthology "Vielfältig herausgefordert" ("Diversely challenged") brings together key scientific findings from the first funding phase of the federal program "Qualitätsoffensive Lehrerbildung" at the Tübingen School of Education. The publication, which is aimed equally at teacher training stakeholders in science, school practice and education administration, is characterized not only by its thematic diversity, but also by the breadth of research methodological approaches, paradigms and discourses. The focus is on the following sub-topics: Modeling, diagnosis, promotion and development of student teachers' competencies. Digital media in teacher training, schools and teaching. Inclusion and exclusion in society and the education system. Linguistic heterogeneity and language sensitivity in teacher training and teaching as well as professionalization processes in the first and third phases of teacher training.
