            Abstract
            Les peintres de la fin du Moyen Age ont su concilier avec bon­heur et créativité les impératifs de la doctrine chrétienne de la Trinité et les aspirations religieuses des dévots, notamment des laïcs, s'agissant de leur rapport personnel à Dieu. L'ouvrage le montre à la lumière de sept chefs-d'œuvre de la peinture du xve siècle. Sont décrits et analysés tour à tour, de manière minutieuse et très documentée, la Grande Pietà ronde de Malouel (Louvre), Communion et martyre de saint Denis de Bellechose (Louvre), le petit Diptyque de Saint-Pétersbourg de Campin (musée de l'Ermitage), la Trinité de Masaccio (Florence, Sainte-Marie-Nouvelle), le Couronnement de la Vierge de Quarton (Villeneuve-lès-Avignon), le Retable de Boulbon (Louvre), l'Adoration de la Trinité de Fouquet (Heures d'Étienne Chevalier, Chantilly, musée Condé).

            Export search results
