            Abstract
            L'orateur athénien Démade, connu pour l'essentiel par des sources tardives, est souvent représenté comme l'exemple achevé du politicien traître et fourbe. Un examen des rares textes littéraires contemporains et des inscriptions qui ont survécu révèle une réalité plus nuancée. Ces pages n'ont pas vocation à réhabiliter Démade. Elles s'attachent à montrer comment et pourquoi, par le jeu des oppositions de personnes, les sources hellénistiques et romaines ont créé l'image du repoussoir absolu puis, dans quelles conditions l'historiographie des xixe et xxe siècles a accepté et amplifié cette position.

            Export search results

            The export option will allow you to export the current search results of the entered query to a file. Differen formats are available for download. To export the items, click on the button corresponding with the preferred download format.
