            Abstract
            La chronique du coup d’État qui a porté au bannissement définitif de Dante de sa patrie, Florence, est écrite au moment où une lueur d’espoir était en train de renaître parmi les Guelfes blancs, par la descente en Italie de l’empereur Henri VII, entre 1310 et 1312. Dans la bataille engagée entre le bien et le mal, corruptions actives, brutalités féodales, guet-apens et guérillas urbaines accompagnent le détournement d’un processus démocratique et la liquidation d’un parti. Ayant lui-même pris une part active et essentielle à la vie politique, le chroniqueur n’a rien d’anonyme ni d’impartial. Membre éminent du gouvernement populaire renversé, Dino Compagni saisit l’arme de la plume pour se faire soldat de l’histoire, dénoncer la superbe et l’ambition, les intentions malignes et les faiblesses coupables, et illustrer le divorce entre la cité et ses citoyens.

            Export search results

            The export option will allow you to export the current search results of the entered query to a file. Differen formats are available for download. To export the items, click on the button corresponding with the preferred download format.

            A logged-in user can export up to 15000 items. If you're not logged in, you can export no more than 500 items.
