This work explores the Baroque festivities in the territories of the Hispanic monarchy, from the sixteenth to the twenty-first century, tracing its evolution, resurgences, and transformations. Drawing on concrete examples —contemporary performances of Baroque works, present-day Corpus Christi processions, sermons perpetuated during religious celebrations— it reveals the multiple artistic dimensions of a festive event that transcends time and space, reinventing itself in response to social changes.
