Abstract

On 24 and 25 October 2024, a conference was held at the University of Barcelona on the topic of “Digitalization and the Law of Obligations”. Scientists from Spain and Germany gave presentations on this topic, which were then discussed. The presentations by the participants printed in this volume deal, among other things, with the conclusion of contracts using AI, the requirements for the contractual conformity of digital products and liability for damages associated with the use of AI. The contributions printed in the speakers' native languages are preceded by summaries in Spanish and German. Am 24. und 25. Oktober 2024 hat an der Universität Barcelona eine Tagung zu dem Thema „Digitalisierung und Schuldrecht“ stattgefunden. Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler aus Spanien und Deutschland haben Vorträge aus diesem Themenbereich gehalten, über die im Anschluss diskutiert wurde. Die in diesem Band abgedruckten Referate der Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer handeln u.a. vom Vertragsschluss unter Einsatz von KI, von den Anforderungen an die Vertragsmäßigkeit digitaler Produkte und von der Verantwortlichkeit für Schäden, die mit dem Einsatz von KI zusammenhängen. Den in der jeweiligen Muttersprache der Referentinnen und Referenten abgedruckten Beiträgen sind Zusammenfassungen in spanischer und deutscher Sprache vorangestellt.
