Intersezioni. La formazione urbanistica di fronte ai mutamenti – Provenienze

Abstract

The volume collects the outcomes of the “Provenienze” working group, one of five thematic panels from the “Intersezioni” seminar promoted by the Italian Society of Urban Planners (SIU) between 2022 and 2025. It explores how disciplinary traditions continue to shape the field of urban planning education, while critically examining the need to reframe knowledge, tools, and responsibilities in response to ecological, social, and spatial transitions. The contributions reflect on the fragmentation and hybridization of urban planning knowledge, highlighting how uncertainty, interdisciplinarity, and situated practices can become transformative resources for reshaping the discipline.
