This reprint aims to present innovative and sustainable strategies to manage invasive insect species, while minimizing ecological disruption. This collection emphasizes biological control, genetic insights, and novel biochemical interventions. It also showcases recent advances in sustainable strategies to mitigate the impact of invasive insect species. Emphasizing ecological safety and specificity, the contributions focus on biological control agents, host plant resistance, molecular targets, and sublethal effects of pesticides as alternatives to conventional chemical control. Control methods demonstrated here show the potential for precision pest management that reduces non-target effects and environmental contamination. Looking ahead, the development of genetic and behavioral control strategies, combined with ecological modeling and biotechnology, will be essential for designing robust, environmentally sound management programs. This reprint provides a valuable foundation for future interdisciplinary approaches in invasive insect control.
