EnglishAbstract
This edited volume explores key challenges in contemporary foreign language teaching amid rapid technological, social, and pedagogical developments. The contributions address a variety of topics, including the design of technology-enhanced learning environments, innovative methods such as instrumental scaffolding and scaffolded coaching, and the growing significance of multilingualism and language mediation in increasingly diverse classrooms.
Additional chapters focus on pronunciation training supported by digital tools, learner motivation, and the relevance of language awareness in translation. While French, English, and other languages are examined, the findings offer broader implications for foreign language education across Europe and beyond.
