Abstract

This Maltese EPPO/OLAF volume provides practitioners in the justice sector and the general public with an overview of the Maltese law implementing the EPPO Regulation and the Maltese laws relevant to the EPPO's activities in Malta. It also explains the legal framework governing the investigative functions of OLAF and its national partners in external investigations. OLAF's investigations have already led to important national decisions over the past twenty years. Advocate Dr Veronica-Anne Spiteri acted as national expert for the publication. While the volume is written in English, its footnotes reproduce the original Maltese legislation in the local language. Easily navigable with the help of visual symbols, it is designed as a quick reference tool for academics, students, practitioners and other interested readers.
