GermanAbstract
Going beyond the quantitative questions of traditional media usage research, the volume discusses the connection between media change, personal biographies and generations. The focus is on people's individual everyday experiences and (mediatized) living environments as well as the question of generation- specific media usage patterns and media pedagogical consequences. The volume includes empirical and theoretical contributions as well as biographical approaches to media education practice. It is aimed at researchers, teachers and students of media and communication studies, (media) education, sociology and history as well as (media) education specialists and laypeople interested in the topic.
