La Universidad de Barcelona en el siglo XVII

Abstract

This book studies the evolution of the University of Barcelona from 1595 to 1714. Given the absence of internal documentation from the University, various sources of municipal documentation are used to write a factitious Chronicle, which details the name of many professors, as well as it regulates many educational, economic and cultural aspects. The preliminary study contextualizes the Chronicle and presents the prosopography of the main professors.
