EnglishAbstract
The present book provides an as yet unprecedented collection of technological advances that could form the basis for future biodiversity weather stations. The book describes a range of approaches that could make biodiversity assessment as easy as measuring temperature or rainfall in a reliable, reproducible manner. There are still quite some more steps to go – but the combination of approaches shown in the book would make it worthwhile to consider carefully when designing the next level of Global Observing Systems.
