| dc.description.abstract | This book aims to study the history of the University of Vic from 1599, when a Study of Arts was approved for that city, until 1717, the year in which the University was transferred to Cervera. After a preliminary study, the book presents a factitious chronicle, which collects almost all the news of the University life that were found in the municipal documentation, which is complemented with other sources from the Historical Archive of the University of Barcelona, detailing especially the University life in the early years of 18th century. The book concludes with several appendices on enrollments, professors, and degrees. | en_US |
