Abstract

How can education respond to different dimensions of social inequality? And what contribution can the concept of intersectionality make in this regard? This interdisciplinary edited volume brings together approaches from various subject didactics and related disciplines that apply intersectionality pragmatically, theoretically, and empirically to school teaching and learning processes as well as to science communication. It reflects on the particular opportunities and challenges of intersectionally informed approaches and thus positions itself as a contribution to interdisciplinary dialogue.
