Abstract

Those who work with vegetation often come across with invasive exotic plant speciesi. Regardless of whether the purpose of the area is conservation, fuel management, recreation, forestry production or other, dealing with these species is often challenging, not only because of the damage they cause, but also because of the complexity of their management. In this context, this Manual is aimed at all those who need to manage and/or implement actions to control of woody invasive plants, including professionals land management organisations, private landowners, technicians from non-governmental environmental (NGOs), among others. Although it includes basic information that makes it easier to understand the options suggested, it is above all a practical document that supports decision-making. designed to be useful and easy to use.
