The 14th International Space Syntax Symposium (SSS14) was hosted by the University of Cyprus in June 2024, with support from Neapolis University Pafos. More than 200 researchers and academics from 36 countries participated in the conference through a hybrid format, enabling broader accessibility for both in-person and virtual attendees. This book presents the symposium's valuable contributions to space syntax research and highlights its role in fostering a more equitable, sustainable, and livable urban future. The themes of SSS14 were developed to address shared concerns among researchers in the fields of complex building architecture and urban studies. Urban planning, design, management, and governance are increasingly called upon to respond to urgent, multifaceted challenges. These include mitigating environmental burdens and risks while creating the conditions necessary for high-quality urban living through the equitable distribution of resources and infrastructures.en_US
