| dc.description.abstract | The hospital’s foundation for poor students was focused in medical attention and pharmacy. In general, this references about this type of institutions are limited. In 1540 was founded with the title of confraternity, “Hospital de Pobres Estudiantes del Estudio General de Valencia” which monograph pretends to contribute to the study of the university’s history specifically to the aforementioned Universitat de València on their assistance function. It describe and analyze life on this hospital in his organizational aspects, economy, patrimonial and accounts, when it went extincted in 1847. The used resources, they have been notarial protocols, constitutions of “Universidad de Valencia” and some books from this university: about economy, minutes from “Junta de Hacienda”, written instruments cloisters of professors and of priories. Likewise books of “Juntas de Patronato de la Ciudad de Valencia”. | en_US |
