Abstract

The book collects the voices of a wide-ranging debate on human rights in the Mediterranean basin and on the current declinations of their protection with regard to migrants, women, lawyers, prisoners, asylum seekers. The resulting dialogue is only one of many possible, but it sometimes reveals unprecedented implications, always abundant in suggestions full of pathos, on our present and above all on our future.

Il volume raccoglie le voci di un confronto ad ampio spettro sui diritti umani nel bacino del Mediterraneo e sulle attuali declinazioni della loro tutela in merito a migranti, donne, avvocati, detenute, richiedenti asilo. Il dialogo che ne risulta è solo uno dei tanti possibili, ma svela risvolti talora inediti, sempre ricchi di suggestioni cariche di pathos, sul nostro presente e soprattutto sul nostro futuro.
