dc.description.abstractIn the present work kinetic experiments addressing the oxidation of isobutene and isobutene to methacrolein over a new Mo-based mixed oxide catalyst are presented. The experiments focus on the one hand on the synthesis of the mixed oxide catalyst as well as the characterization of the crystal structure and on the other hand on the identification of suitable reaction conditions for the oxidation of the hydrocarbons.*
