| dc.description.abstract | The present chapter aims to build a memory of the attack on the police station in Tumaco, Nariño, by the 29th front of the FARC-EP on February 1, 2012, amidst peace negotiations with this armed organization, during the first government of Juan Manuel Santos Calderón (2010-2014). It will delve into the background to this violent event, the geographical and historical context of that region in southwestern Colombia, and the consequences it brought, both for the progress of negotiations in Havana, Cuba, and for the residents of that port. | en_US |
