| publisher.program | High Rate Consulting is an independent US Open Access publisher that provides a complete academic publishing service to contribute to the creation of new networks with colleagues from Latin America and the world, from all fields of knowledge, specially Social Sciences. Our commitment is the dissemination of high quality research through comprehensive review of specialists in the field of knowledge. We encourage authors to publish with us because our agile, flexible, affordable and fully accessible academic service based in our research expertise and promoting Open Access of the content. We handle the publishing and distribution of Ebooks in different social networks and we submit to database evaluation/indexing (Book Citation Index, Dialnet, Redib, among others). Authors are provided with advice and constructive feedback to submit and improve the quality of their research work. In 2022, an alliance was signed with the Instituto Interuniversitario de Investigación Educativa de Chile (IESED-CHILE), this institute brings together several universities and we collaborate to continue working based on compliance with international research standards. | publisher.oalicense | The books published by High Rate Consulting are Open Access with electronic ISBN and are available for free reading and download at no cost. If any author wishes to put his book up for sale, it is placed separately, and the conditions are clarified. The authors retain its righst on the content, at least they give them to the institution or university. We also encourage our authors to place their books in their repositories or personal academic social networks to broaden their reach and continue to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge. We highly recommend use the CC license with Attribution International (CC BY 4.0), which mean that the author is free to: Share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and Adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material), under the following terms: Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use. No additional restrictions — You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits. However, authors based on their needs and interests choose the license that suits them best. In any case, the license of each book will be described in the first pages of it. | en_US |
| publisher.peerreviewpolicy | We offer double-blind peer review service in the editing process. When a book is peer reviewed, it will contain the clarifying note on the first pages of the book. The process consists of analyzing the material by two external evaluators, who will be able to issue their suggestions and make modification proposals, if required. For the definitive acceptance of a book or book chapter, the positive evaluation of two evaluators is required; in case of notable discrepancies, it will be submitted to a third evaluator. This evaluation usually takes no more than 30 business days after the process begins. Within this time, two experts in the field of knowledge will review the proposal. Based on the review, the Advisory Board will decide whether to accept the proposal for publication. If accepted, authors will receive anonymous copies of the reviewers’ comments and will be responsible for considering the suggestions, ensuring that the modifications are carried out. The Advisory Board will make the final decision based on the process. When the book is collective and has one or more editors/compilers, the material is reviewed by them before peer review to verify its relevance with respect to the thematic lines of the proposed text. The reviewers are informed about the particular regulations of each book, since each project will have its specific characteristics, the bases of each call together with the evaluation format is provided to each reviewer participating in the process. | en_US |
