| publisher.peerreviewpolicy | A publication submitted to the Publisher is reviewed in open peer review mode. The review procedure for publication submitted to the LUT Publishing House is two-stage and consists of an internal review by the Scientific Council of the LUT Publishing House and an external review performed by a designated reviewer. Members of Scientific Council of the LUT Publishing House select a reviewer who: does not have an employment relationship with Lublin University of Technology (in case of an external reviewer); holds at least a post-doctoral degree; is a recognized expert in a given scientific discipline; has no conflict of interest with the author(s); within the last five years preceding the preparation of the review did not take up direct scientific collaboration with the author/authors; does not have close personal relations with author/authors; has an unblemished reputation as a reviewer. Reviewers for particular types of publications are selected according to the following rules: scientific monographs – 2 external reviewers; monographs based on doctoral dissertations – 1 additional external reviewer; student monographs – 2 reviewers (not necessarily external); academic textbook and workbook – 2 external reviewers. The review procedure is coordinated by the Lublin University of Technology Publishing House. | en_US |
